What's Next for Nostrize? 🚀

We've made some awesome progress so far, and now I'm turning to you to help decide what we should tackle next. Here are a couple of ideas:

Boosting Feature for GitHub Projects/Issues:

Imagine being able to boost your favorite GitHub projects or issues directly from Nostrize. This could be a great way to support open-source work and bring more visibility to important issues.

Quick Share Tweets (X Posts) to Your Nostr Account:

What if sharing your favorite tweets or X posts on your Nostr account was just a click away? This feature could make it super easy to cross-post and engage with both platforms seamlessly.

Our motto is simple: Make Nostr Sneak into the Web 🕵️‍♂️. With that in mind, which feature gets you most excited? Or do you have other ideas that align with our mission?

yes, settings are hard coded right now and it is showing some dummy html which we don’t support at all.

maybe I better remove them for not to confuse people.

for the relays, if I can make nip07 integration work, i can put a button to import the relays from window.nostr.getRelays() and ability to override them by the user.

but my priority right now is to use nip07 for signing the events

I didn't even know there is a mobile browser that can run extensions. I guess iOS sucks😔

If you don't mind to check again, now the extension should able to work on m.youtube.com

🚀 Big News: We’ve just added zapping support for Twitter/X!

Just add your npub to your Twitter/X profile bio in a new line:

npub: npub1j7kz0....

That's it. Now you can receive zaps from Nostrize users!

🎨 We’ve also given our UI/UX a little refresh with an updated zap modal dialog. It’s looking better than ever 🤓

🤔 A question came up to me while working on the new features. Do you think Google would allow Nostrize in their extension registration, while having YouTube features that disrupts their business model?

Should we remove YouTube temporarily and reintroduce it after approval? Or do you have a better idea?

👉 GitHub Grants: Allow users to attach grants or rewards to GitHub issues, incentivising contributions and bug fixes. Users can put a bounty on issues they want resolved and reward the person who resolves them.

👉 Project Boosting and Promotion: Add a feature to boost projects and rewards on a dedicated page, promoting your favourite projects—similar to what you see in apps like Fountain app.

👉 Mobile Web Client: Develop a mobile-friendly web client for Nostrize that allows users to paste URLs and use the features of Nostrize on mobile devices, given that the extension only works on desktops.

👉 WebLN & NWC Integration: Add WebLN functionality to the extension, enhancing its capabilities with Lightning network features like sending payments and managing invoices directly from the browser. Add NWC (Nostr Wallet Connect) support to the extension capabilities so that you can use your nostr account securely.

👉 Logo and landing page: Design a logo and a landing page for our incoming nostize.me website

👉 Specialised Nostr Relay: Index Nostrize related events for fast access

👉 Ecash payments: Integrate ecash payments along with lightning.
